Drilling fluid and oil chemicals

(1) Drilling fluid series

Water-based drilling fluid (WBM

Suitable for shallow to medium-deep well sections, with an environmentally friendly formula (biodegradation rate >80%)

The salt-resistant version can withstand a Cl⁻ concentration of up to 200,000mg/L, meeting the requirements for salt-paste layer operations

Typical application: Carbonate rock strata of the Mishrif Formation in Iraq (significantly effective in inhibiting clay expansion)

Oil-based drilling fluid (OBM

High-temperature stable type (temperature resistance 180℃/356℉), low-toxicity mineral oil-based (LC50>100,000ppm)

Containing nano-sealing agent (particle size ≤10μm), it reduces reservoir damage

Case: A deep well (6,200 meters deep) in the Murzuq Basin of Libya achieved zero leakage

Synthetic drilling fluid (SBM

Environmentally friendly alternative, OSPAR certified, suitable for sensitive sea areas

(2) Completion fluids and workover fluids

The clean brine system (KCl/CaBr₂/CaCl₂) has a density adjustable range of 1.0-2.3g/cm³

Solid-phase polymer-free completion fluid, protecting reservoir permeability (damage rate <15%)

(3) Full-process technical services

Laboratory support

The central laboratory of the United Arab Emirates is equipped with a high-temperature and high-pressure rheometer (simulating the working conditions of 200℃/5000psi)

We provide services such as drilling fluid compatibility testing and core damage assessment

On-site service

Dispatch a team of mud engineers to adjust the formula in real time (such as in response to sudden salt invasion)

The digital monitoring system tracks key indicators (density, filtration loss, rheological parameters)

Waste slurry treatment

Provide solid control equipment leasing and waste liquid recycling services (in compliance with ADNOC HSE standards)

Chemical solidification technology reduces the toxicity of waste by 90%

(4) Success cases

The Khurais oilfield project in Saudi Arabia

Challenge: The bottom hole temperature is 155℃, which makes the drilling fluid prone to gelation

Solution: Customize a combination of high-temperature stabilizer and nano-sealing agent

Results: No performance degradation after 98 consecutive days of operation, and the mechanical drilling speed increased by 18%

Operations in the salt dome formation of Oman

Challenge: The salt layer thickness exceeds 300m, and traditional drilling fluids are prone to crystallization

Solution: Saturated brine system + anti-salt and fluid loss reducing agent

Achievement: The average daily footage of the salt layer section has been increased to 42 meters
